As a wife and mother of 4, it seems I've always had a camera in my hand. What started with taking photos of my two eldest boys grew into a passion after my first trip to Haiti...which is where we adopted our two youngest children from...After developing the film, (yes, film) I was in awe of the moment each photo froze in time. In a country stricken with disease and poverty, the photos showed so much more. There was laughter amidst pain, there was joy rising above tragedy and there was hope triumphing over desolation. From that point on, I was determined to capture every story as it was unfolding. To this day, each time I pick up my camera, I ask the same question...What story are you telling in this photo?
